This is where my Mom, my Dad and I started. It was a lot of work. But I wouldn't trade the experience for ANYTHING!!!
I dug out the area for the
Dry creek bed. Lined it with landscape fabric, then started hauling rocks in. Man (Woman) power was all the power tools used in this WHOLE project!!! If I can do it Anyone can!!!
This was the BIG part of the job! Mom and I pored the concrete path. We used the
Quikcrete path maker forms and the 80lb bags of
Quikcrete. 1 80 lb bag filled 2 1/2 forms. If you are thinking of doing this as project I highly recommend it. It was a fast process... getting the bags of
Quikcrete in the wheel barrow and mixing the concrete was the hardest part for my Mom and me. Hard work never killed anyone,as far as I know!
I had to get creative with this obstacle.
